TV5

Today, the Fresh Prince wasn’t on. So, I watched The Simpson’s. Today Homer got into a fight with Marge and Homer went on a walk and to saw a billboard for help success. First he goes to a “how to strip for your wife” and gets kicked out for using up all the oil. Goes into the success room and buys a book. Homer started to follow the books tips and tries to impress his boss, Mr. Burns, by showing him some ideas of his. It doesn’t work. Then, Homer overhears Mr. Burns talking to his secretary, Mr. Smithers, about how the Plant isn’t real in Mr. Burns name but in a bird’s name, so if any trouble happens the bird will do the time in jail and not him. So Homer actually does something smart for a change, he lets the bird out and tells Mr. Burns that the there is a surprise inspection coming. Homer tells Mr. Burns he will take the blame and become the new owner of the plant. First, thing Homer does is fire Mr. Burns. Homer’s co-workers cheer in happiness when they hear that Mr. Burns is no more. At first, Homer loves being the boss until he starts to have to be the boss, and that means firing people, going on trips and such. Homer starts to hate missing his family and wants to be with them and see his kids grow. So, Homer ands up giving back the power plant to Mr. Burns after Mr. Burns tried to take it away from him in a failed attempt.

Great post!

Being the boss is pretty sucky--especially when it comes to having to crack down on people and do performance evaluations and that sort of thing!
